My Story
The High-Achiever Who Couldn’t Stop
In 1989, my husband and I founded Clelan and Company, a financial advisory firm that grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. I was a driven, high-achieving, type-A powerhouse—always setting the next goal, pushing harder, and proving I could do it all.
At 24, I was the youngest female in my state to earn a prestigious national sales award. Thereafter, I was a top fundraiser for charities, the recipient of numerous local, state, and national awards, and the first woman to chair multiple professional boards. All while raising a daughter and helping raise two stepchildren.
From the outside, it looked like I had it all together. And for a while, I believed that too. But beneath the success, my body was breaking down.
 The Breaking Point
By my late 20s, my health began to deteriorate. By 34, I was so debilitated that I could barely function. The relentless pain, crushing fatigue, and deep depression led to a diagnosis: Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
I fought for nearly two decades, desperately trying to push through. But my body had other plans. Eventually, I collapsed. I could no longer process food or even water. Every part of me—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—was drained.
I prayed relentlessly for answers. And then, one night, out of nowhere, two words came to me: business coaching.
At first, I was skeptical. I had spent 11 years in a prestigious entrepreneurial coaching program, and yet, here I was—exhausted and broken. But something inside me told me to keep searching.
That search led me to something life-changing. Its name? Core Energy Coaching™.
The Shift That Changed Everything
My genetic condition didn’t magically disappear, but everything else changed. I learned how to shift from a life-draining, stress-fueled existence to a place of passion, purpose, joy, and fulfillment. The constant pressure I had lived under was replaced with deep inner peace. And with that, my health, relationships, creativity, and energy all transformed.
I now experience success in a completely different way, one that aligns with my core values, well-being, and true fulfillment.
Why I Coach
Looking back, I’m grateful for every challenge. Without them, I never would have been forced to seek deeper answers. And I never would have discovered my true calling: helping other high-achievers break free from stress and burnout to create lives of meaning, balance, and success.
